This Shipping & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made from Holy Steel. This policy is written in accordance with applicable Canadian consumer protection laws, including the Competition Act, Consumer Protection Act (provincial versions), and general principles of fairness and transparency.
1. Shipping
Shipping is included in the price of all products unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page or during checkout.
Orders are processed within 5 business days and shipped via reputable carriers.
Delivery times may vary based on location and carrier processing times, in accordance with Canada Post or courier standards.
2. Returns & Refunds
We aim to provide fair, transparent, and reasonable return practices in compliance with Canadian consumer rights.
2.1 Return Shipping Costs
While outbound shipping to customers is included, customers are responsible for the cost of shipping products back to us for returns or refunds unless the product is defective, damaged upon arrival, or incorrect.
This is consistent with general Canadian consumer protection principles, which permit businesses to assign return shipping fees when the customer is returning for reasons unrelated to product defects or seller error.
2.2 Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of $25.00 CAD applies to all returned items that are not defective or damaged.
This fee covers inspection, handling, repackaging, and inventory management and is compliant with Canadian regulations as long as it is clearly disclosed prior to purchase, which this policy does.
2.3 Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
Under Canadian consumer protection standards, customers are entitled to receive products that are durable, fit for purpose, and as described.
If the product you receive is defective, damaged during shipment, or ** materially different from what you ordered**, we will:
Replace the item free of charge,
Cover all return shipping costs, and
Waive the restocking fee entirely.
To qualify for a replacement:
You must notify us within 15 days of receiving the product.
The item must be returned with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
Proof of damage or defect (e.g., photos) may be required to comply with carrier insurance requirements.
This process is consistent with Canadian consumer rights, which allow remedies when a product does not meet reasonable expectations of quality.
3. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
Shipping charges paid by the customer (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to damage, defect, or an error on our part.
